Also, as cheap as the OS sensor is, it has a nice lcd display so I can check the temp without going in house to look at console or web site. Put my old OS THC-268 back in as well, I still run my old vws site as it has my inside temps etc. This way I was able to mount the xmitter behind some cedars and out of view, ran the sensor cable in the newly cut channel, then up the ladder and into the pool. While I had the saw I made an inch deep straight cut from ladder to garden. Its amazing how much can fit in a 14 by 14 inch square. So it cost me a few dollars in gas, and $50 in part, and a bit of sweat to get all the concrete out. Was quote $500 to fix it, and already spent $150 for a pressure test (which was not necessary). Borrowed a conrete saw to make an access hole. Crack inside the fitting so when pressurized since the jet opening is smaller than pipe, it was forcing the water out and into the sand surrounding the pool wall. One of my return fittings was leaking, losing an inch per day with pool running. Well thanks to a leak in my pool I came up with an idea. Was worried about how to hide this massive and ugly sensor. Finally installed my 6372 as my pool sensor a few weeks ago.
